Monday, January 25, 2010: Signal Hill, CA ... Associated Soils Engineering, Inc., announces that their licensed civil engineer, Lawrence J.D. Chang, has recently passed the exam to become Registered Geotechnical Engineer (GE) in the state of California. "By earning a GE license, this individual has reached a new level of excellence in his professional career," Edward C. “Ted” Riddell, P.G, President, said.  "We are extremely proud of his accomplishment. Chang is a registered civil engineer (RCE 67987) with Associated Soils Engineering, Inc. Chang joined Associated Soils Engineering, Inc. in April, 2005. He received his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Chung Yuan University, Taiwan, and his Master of Science Degree in Geotechnical Engineering from University of California, Davis. Chang has over 25 years of experience in Geotechnical Engineering internationally. To become a licensed Geotechnical Engineer in California, Chang had to hold a valid license as a Civil Engineer and work full-time for four years as an RCE and pass the required exam.
